Hanko Passkey API is built on years of experience with FIDO2 and WebAuthn. It provides a lightweight HTTP API and an SDK for adding passkey functionality to existing authentication systems.

The API supports both first-factor passkeys and second-factor WebAuthn credentials, including hardware security keys. With a small memory footprint and the same proven WebAuthn foundation used across Hanko’s products, it is designed to be simple to operate and easy to integrate.
